Anna wrote this first song parody just a few days after finding out
she has dilated cardiomyopathy & needs a heart transplant.
I could tell the hospital staff didn’t know what to think of this kid
at first & most of them had never heard of Roller Derby Queen
(the melody that inspired this song.)  But Anna didn’t care.

We never really sat down and discussed how we were going to
deal with this as a family – it just went this way from the beginning,
and we’re sticking with it.  Sometimes crazy works.
